Connect, Inc. serves individuals and families who are homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. If you need assistance and are experiencing homelessness or will become homeless within the next 14 days, you may qualify for a confidential assessment and referral.

Shelters for Women, Children, and Families

Women with Children's Shelter


The Women and Children’s Shelter offers single mothers and their children a secure and welcoming place to rebuild their lives. Completed in 2018, the shelter features 12 suites and 36 beds designed to give families comfort, privacy, and a strong foundation for long-term recovery.

Washington Family Shelter
(SPHS Connect Services)

Connect, Inc. provides emergency shelter to homeless women and families with children at our emergency shelter facilities. Shelter facilities provide private family rooms for families with children and shared dormitory rooms for women. Shelter guests share common areas such as the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry facilities, living areas, and outdoor areas with the guests at each location.

Sally’s Sanctuary is a 54-bed Women’s Shelter at City Mission, newly opened in September 2025.
This new shelter will meet the growing needs across our region and provide a safe, welcoming home for more women in need.

Men's Shelter (non veteran)

From City Mission’s humble beginnings, the Men’s Shelter has expanded over the years to address the going community need. After the 2015 fire, our new facility has expanded to 85 beds.

Veteran Men's Shelter

Crabtree-Kovacicek Veterans House
The Veterans House opened on July 3, 2018, and provides 22 beds for veterans. City Mission continues to enhance programs that meet the unique needs of this population.
